"Fantastic day diving with Splash.

HK waters have really sprung to life! The first time I went diving in HK I didn't see a single fish, but it's been better and better each year.

Today we had great visibility and saw box fish, porcupine fish, sweet lips, Moray eel, clown fish, nudibranch, jelly fish, too many sea urchins, lion fish, parrot fish, butterfly fish and an octopus!!"

I've just been on my first dive outside the padi open water course on the great barrier reef and the dive master couldn't believe that i'd only just passed as i was stable and relaxed in the water.  I put this solely down to Chris and the team teaching us all the proper and safe techniques and explaining everything clearly and comprehensively. "I recently completed my Instructor Development Course (IDC) with Darren at Splash. The course itself is intense and provides you with a significant insight into the diving industry and the PADI method of teaching. Darren and Don from the Splash team were incredibly helpful in translating the course into a realistic assessment of what life is like as a dive instructor. They provided countless examples of real life situations they had encountered and tips and techniques for teaching skills etc.

 

Darren was also very flexible regarding the course schedule. On several occasions I had to rearrange sessions due to work commitments and Darren was very accommodating. The facilities at Li Po Chun college are ideal for an IDC with the classroom and pool next to each other which allows lots of time for practicing in-water skills.
